CPA Marketing: Get Started Today!

In the present state of advertising, gone are those times when merchants or companies have to give sales or bargains to give the publishers profits. Now, with just a simple filling-out of forms or registration, publishers get income without investing a sweat.
Cost Per Action (CPA) Marketing makes this possible. CPA, also known as Pay Per Action or PPA, is indeed the newest pricing trend in the world of online marketing and advertising that requires advertisers to pay for every conversions or actions made such as registrations, purchases and downloads.

Now, the big question is, how could interested publishers take part in this new wave?

The first step is to find a CPA Network where you can sign up as a publisher or an affiliate. These networks give a list of products and services promoted by certain companies or merchants. By becoming an affiliate, you have to generate the traffic and sales for the products and services being offered using different marketing strategies such as emails and video. And yes, you don’t have to wait until sales are offered to receive payments. You do not also have to worry about refunds or paybacks to be provided for the users who made the action or conversions to your site. It is indeed guaranteed that you can get a hefty paycheck especially if you promote 3 to 4 CPA offers.
And to maximize your income potential through CPA marketing, you must also have the scrutinizing eyes to find the best CPA Network in town. To help you with this, here are some considerations when looking for the right network:

•    Find a CPA network that is not niche-based or does not limit its campaign according to niche. So if you have a blog that underscores finance, you need not find only those networks that only offer finance products and services. Opting for that network that gives a wide range of offers is definitely a good pick for aspiring affiliates.

•    Look for networks that recognize traffic from countries that you represent. Using the keyword “International CPA Network” could give you the network with latent income opportunities.

•    You should also have a devoted affiliate manager that could guide you through different offers of the network. Without an affiliate manager, there is a possibility that you might not succeed in this field.
CPA Marketing is indeed a great opportunity to generate income, but just like any other endeavor, there are also risks involved. With this model, the publishers depend on the company’s creative ideas and websites which are the main determinants of huge income. More often than not, you could also come across advertisers or agencies that may not give you exact information of the number of transactions made on your website. So to avert these future dilemmas, be sure that all deals are made clear from the start. Negotiate on how you could be kept posted about each transaction made so that you have a historical account of all the actions. Having these things in mind could assure you of maximum income potential in every CPA commitment made.

PLR Article A Day.

We all love immediate gratification – and when we’re starting a marketing plan for our websites, such as one including article marketing, we would certainly love to see the fruits of all our hard work right from Day One!

Realistically though, this is usually not the way it works, and that’s true of any online marketing strategy, not just article marketing.

While it is possible that with one article submission you may see a huge surge of traffic right away if a major ezine picks up your article for publication, for the most part article marketing has a “delayed gratification” element to it.

Fortunately, as with most instances of delayed gratification, the wait is worth the payoff!

When you hear successful article marketers talking about how much traffic they get from the articles they submit or how they’re dominating the search engine rankings thanks to their article submissions, you have to keep in mind that they didn’t get there overnight.

Using articles to drive traffic back to your website isn’t hard, but there are a few things you should know if you want to position yourself for success:

1) How many articles should I submit?

Article marketing is one of those tools that almost anyone can do. You don’t need to be a SEO junkie or a technically advanced internet user. All you need to be able to do is write educational articles in relation to your website’s niche and submit them consistently over the long term.

How much is “consistent”?

While you don’t want to inundate publishers with your articles, you do want to submit a steady amount of articles. I would recommend submitting at most 1-8 articles a month.

That number is pretty doable most of us can find the time to write at least one quality article a month, and even more if we put our minds to it!

If you submit at least one article a month, you can see great results, and the more articles you submit (up to a point), the more exposure your website receives.

I wouldn’t exceed 8 articles a month though, because in my experience most quality publishers don’t like to be bombarded with articles from single authors, simply because in general the higher the quantity, the lower the quality of each article.

By submitting a limited number of articles a month, you can focus on quality, rather than quantity – the results from a few quality articles will generally always far outweigh the results from lots of low quality articles.

2) How long does it take to see results?

When you start article marketing consistently (submitting 1-8 articles a month), you can expect to see results within 3-4 months.

Why does it take that long?

Google doesn’t update their rankings on a daily or even a monthly basis–usually their ranking adjustments are done every 3 months or so.

So, no matter what link building or traffic driving method you’re using, if you were hoping to see an increase in search engine ranking and more traffic from Google, you need to be a little patient.

Don’t submit one or two articles, and then a week later say, “Ugh–this isn’t working! I quit.”

Take a clue from the experts who are seeing the results you’re after–commit to doing your article marketing consistently over a long span of time (ideally over the entire lifetime of your website), and know that it will likely take 3-4 months to see results from your efforts.

3) How can I measure my results?

There are 4 main ways to measure your results with article marketing:

*An increase in traffic to your website.

*An increase in backlinks

*An increase in PageRank

*An increase in your search engine ranking for your keyword terms

Obviously, in order to measure your results using these factors, you want to take a baseline of each of these stats before you start article marketing, so you’ll have a basis of comparison.

Remember though, when you take your initial baseline of these 4 elements, you will not see a change right away. It will take 3-4 months from the time your article marketing campaign begins to see changes in your baselines.

The biggest obstacle I see with folks not seeing the results they were looking for with article marketing is not the actual writing and submitting of articles it’s managing their expectations.

It’s natural for people to want to see results right away, but you know better now!

Article marketing is an extremely effective way to build links and drive traffic to your website over the long term, so don’t let unreal expectations spoil your ability to stick with it.

Now that you know what to expect, how many articles to submit, how long it takes to see results, and how to measure your results, you’re light years ahead of the pack and are right on track for following in the footsteps of other expert article marketers!

Article marketing is an awesome way to provide content for sales letters, squeeze pages and blogs. To have enough content to get regular traffic you should spend time every month writing new articles. Eventually, you should have your articles scattered across the web, giving you hundreds of chances to get traffic to your site.

Article marketing is one of the greatest ways to get traffic on the internet and it is one of the few ways to get free traffic. Another reason you should be using article marketing strategies to market your website is that it will provide lasting traffic for a long time to come.

Article marketing and writing articles is also a great way for you to establish yourself as an expert or an authority in your field or niche.

There are a few things to consider when writing your articles.

Article Marketing Strategy Guidelines:

1. An article should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 to 800 words long.

2. Each article should be written or focused around one specific keyword phrase.

3. The keyword phrase should be used in the headline, the first and last paragraph and then just normally throughout the article as it makes sense.

4. Keyword density should be around 2% of your total words used in your article.

There are plenty of free tools available online that will tell you your keyword density within your article. If you find your density is too low, add keywords where you can without making the article sound weird. You can also edit out some of the text which will raise the keyword density.

If your articles keyword density is too high, then you will need to remove some of your keywords, write more text, or find different ways to say the same thing such as using the keyword “internet marketing” instead of “affiliate marketing”.

5. Submit your articles to the most popular article marketing directories.

6. Post your articles on your blog or site.

7. You should always include a link back to your site or product within the signature or resource box at article marketing directories.

Getting Ideas For Articles:

1. One of the first things I suggest you do is to use a keyword research tool such as the Google AdWords keyword tool, Wordtracker or SEObook and type in one of your niche keyword phrases.

This let’s you see what people are actually typing in and searching for on a regular basis. The reason for this is because you don’t want to be wasting your time writing an article about something that no one is interested in.

You can then write articles about any or all of those keyword phrases.

2. Check out discussion forums. What are people talking about?

3. Look at http://Amazon.com for popular books/sellers.

4. Watch the news and read the newspaper. What is happening in the world that gets brought up over and over?

5. Go to article marketing directories such as http://ezinearticles.com, http://isnare.com, http://goarticles.com and others to see what other people in your niche are writing about.

6. Perform a search at Google for some of your niche related keywords and see what results come up and to see what others are writing about.

Writing Your Articles:

Whether the article marketing guidelines above make sense or not, the biggest thing you need to focus on is moving forward.

The way to do that is to choose a specific keyword phrase to write your article about.

Make the article at somewhere between 400-700 words.

Use the main keyword phrase:

- In your title
- Your first paragraph
- Your last paragraph
- Where ever else you can for it to sound natural.

How Many Articles Should I Write?

The thing with articles are, with effective article marketing you need to continue to write articles on a regular basis. So what I’m saying here is not to write an article, post it, and then wait a month to write another article. Try writing 1 article per day, or at least a couple or so per week and post them as mentioned above.

The more articles you distribute, the more chances for people to find your articles and be directed to your site. Article marketing is an effective way to drive traffic to your web page. Remember, the greater the number of people seeing your site, the greater chance you have of selling your product or service.

7 Essential Habits of Article Marketing Experts

No doubt you have heard of certain internet marketing ‘gurus’ who get incredible results from article marketing – but then you try your hand at it and end up wondering, “What am I missing? Why can’t I get the same results these experts are getting?”

What these article marketing experts are doing is not mind blowing or even particularly difficult – they have just developed certain key habits that allow them to succeed.

Just follow these simple tricks, and before long you’ll be writing and submitting articles like the pros!

1) Submit articles regularly, but not too frequently.

The number of articles you submit requires a delicate balance – if you submit too many, you may compromise on their quality. You may also find that publishers begin to feel inundated with articles from you and this can have a negative impact on your future submissions.

But submit too few articles and you won’t see much impact for your efforts.

So how much is too much and too little?

For maximum advantage from your article marketing, it’s generally recommended to submit somewhere between 1 and 8 articles a month.

2) Write articles that demonstrate your expertise, not articles that are promotional.

Most quality publishers are looking for educational, informational articles that are not self-serving – this means that the articles do not mention your own business, website, or products in the body of the article. (Your resource box is the appropriate place to talk about your business and website.) Articles are a way to demonstrate your expertise in your niche and establish yourself as an authority in your field. Effective article marketers try to teach, rather than try to sell.

Spend time on your resource box.

Your resource box is the author bio that sits below your article, and it is the one spot where you can talk about yourself, your business, your products or website. Your resource box is absolutely intrinsic to effective article marketing.

Remember, your resource box should tell readers a little about you and your business, and importantly, it should also contain a call-to-action to generate click-throughs to your website. And don’t forget to include, and double-check, your link!

4) Have realistic expectations and submit articles consistently over the long term.

Article marketing is a long term marketing strategy, and it will likely take 3-4 months to see results from your efforts. Effective article marketers know this, so they don’t submit a few articles and then quit because they didn’t see huge results. They persevere; they know that article marketing is something that is meant to be done over the lifetime of their website, so they don’t freak out when they don’t see immediate results.

5) Craft thoughtful, educational, and grammatically correct articles.

Really effective article marketers write articles that their target market finds useful and informative. They don’t phone in their content thinking that the only thing that matters is the link in their resource box. They think of things their target visitors need to know and are likely to be looking for information on online, and then they craft thoughtful articles that they thoroughly proofread before submitting.

Remember that your article will be published on websites over which you have no control, so proofread, proofread, proofread!

6) Create tantalizing titles.

Effective article marketers know that the article title is what lures in readers, and they focus on crafting attention grabbing titles. So, don’t slap on a title that looks like an afterthought – it’s as important as a headline on a sales page!

Remember that when people are looking through an article directory they will likely be looking at a list of titles – would your title stand out and make someone want to click through to read the entire article?

7) Get creative when thinking of article topics.

Being an expert article marketer is a bit like being a professional writer – you need to come up with fresh ways of writing about your niche.

Try writing articles directed to readers of different skill levels, to newbies and advanced readers. Get involved in communities in your niche and see what common problems and questions people are having. Think of the ten most common questions that your customers ask you, and then write articles to satisfy those questions.

When you’re doing article marketing, you’re teaching. The best teachers find ways to communicate different elements of a subject in ways designed to grab your attentiond.

And remember, every article that you write should be on the topic of your website (not *about* your website, but about the general topic of your website).

See, that wasn’t so hard, was it?

Even if you’re a newcomer to article marketing, you will stand apart from the crowd if you take these tips to heart. From now on, you can start article marketing just like the pros !

Many top article marketers also distribute their articles automatically, giving them more time to write quality articles and increasing their article’s exposure.
